Eat Regularly: Make sure that you are not skipping any meals because fluctuation of blood sugar can cause a migraine!
Add more Omega 3 to your diet: If you get migraines a lot, consider adding more nuts to your diet! Nuts are known to be a great pain reliever, help control blood flow, lower inflammation, and also will help stop future onset. Other Omega 3 foods include flaxseeds, salmon, and broccoli.
Increase your Turkey Intake: Turkey contains tryptophan, which is an amino acid that stimulates dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is an important component in releasing serotonin in the body. Serotonin works to relax the body and the muscles around the brain. In return, turkey will be sure to stop or prevent your migraines!
Low Fat Diet: Recent studies found that people with low fat diets had at least 40% fewer migraines, the migraines were 66% less severe, and 70% shorter . Go on a low fat diet, and you will experience tons of migraine benefits!
Food to Avoid:On the other hand, there are tons of food that contribute to your migraines. These include: Added sugar, Aged cheese, Conventional dairy products, Large consummation of alcohol, Fried foods and fast foods, especially those with MSG, Artificial food and artificial sweetener.
